My Tarot Deck Collection
Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot deck
The Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot Deck is one of my favorites for it’s original Art Nouveau style.
The deck was designed by Matt Hughes in 2017. The artist’s style also combines inspiration from the Pre-Raphaelite movement and the Symbolist movement. He has added 2 of his own Major Arcana cards to the deck, called ‘The well’ and ‘The artist.
The Sunsecrets Tarot Deck
The Sunsecrets Tarot deck has beautiful, detailed imagery that evoke magical children’s book illustrations. It is not as easy to read as the Rider Waite decks but worth working with as the imagery is inspirational, full of magic and sparkle.
The Golden Foil Tarot Deck
The Golden Foil Tarot deck uses original Rider Waite imagery on shiny gold cards.
‘What we see in the symbology of tarot derives in large measure from our own intuition and, once revealed, reflects back upon each of us to further enrich our lives.’
The Aquarian Tarot Deck
The Aquarian Tarot by David Palladini is an authentic interpretation of the medieval Tarot.
This deck was published in 1970 which you can see by the design of the illustrations. There are a lot of warm colours - reds and oranges and stylised imagery inspired by Art Deco and Art Nouveau.
The Tarot of the Witches deck
The Tarot of the Witches deck, created by artist Fergus Hall and featured in the James Bond movie ‘Live and let die’ depicts full length figures in compelling dreamlike imagery making this Tarot deck ideal for coven readings.
The Erethereal Tarot Deck
The Erethereal Tarot deck has incredible original and somewhat gothic illustrations.
The deck has been created by Vixen:
‘In the uncharted territories of the soul, where shadows whisper secrets and light unveils truths, Erethereal was born. A journey which Vixen began in the depths of personal exploration, in a space often left unspoken. A world that thrived in darkness.’
The Visconti Sforza Tarot Deck
The Visconti Sforza Tarot are rare Tarot cards that have been reproduced in authentic colour tones from the extant Visconti-Sforza Tarocchi deck dating from mid-fifteenth century Milan.
Italy holds the honor of producing several of the earliest known hand-painted playing card packs that contain the twenty-two mystical and allegorical trump cards called ‘trionfi’.
